The Whitgift sports teams have been in action again this term. All the teams have done exceptionally well and are a credit to the school!
Girls Success
Year 8 Hockey Tournament (Outdoor)
5th Place
Year 8 Netball Tournament (Outdoor)
1st Place
This makes them double champions as they also won the Indoor Tournament.
Year 7 Netball Tournament (Outdoor)
5th Place
Boys Success
Years 9/10 played rugby against Hereford and won. They demonstrated excellent spirit, endeavour and teamwork.
Year 9 played football against Healing and won. There was some very good football, together with good spirit and teamwork.
Year 7 played football against Humberston and won. The team played with great attitude and perseverance.
Years 7/8 played rugby against Hereford and for some it was their first experience of playing competitive rugby. However, they played with great enthusiasm, attitude and respect. A lot of development was made in their skills and understanding of the rules.
Year 11 played football against Hereford. It was an excellent game, played with great end to end action.
² The trampoline Club has been very successful and has some very talented
individuals.

Students have really enjoyed the experience of playing competitive table tennis.
Swimming Gala
The boys team for the school was a depleted one, but one which did swim with lots of passion and effort and represented the school admirably.
