Annual Awards Evening 2009

Grimsby Town Hall - Monday 23rd November 2009

140 students were presented with Awards at our Annual Awards Evening, held at Grimsby Town Hall, by special guest Roger Edwardson, Deputy Director of Learning for N.E. Lincs Council. During the evening our BTEC Music group performed a medley from ‘Les Miserables' and ‘Ain't No Mountain High Enough'. The event was a celebration of the school's achievements over the previous academic year and Mr Rushby spoke of his pride of the many Whitgift School achievements in the six years since he was appointed Head teacher. The evening was enjoyed by all those present and the Town Hall was full to capacity with special guests, staff, students, parents and carers.
