The 'Get Real Food' Show
All of our KS3 students attended the ‘Get Real Food Show' in September, where they learnt the grim truth behind what really goes into making convenience and fast foods. The show was filmed in the style of ‘Ready Steady Cook', with two kitchens and two chefs going head to head with a healthy option meat pie, and a not so pleasant fast food option! All three year groups certainly did not have their taste buds tickled by the high fat, salt and ‘reformed' meat content of the fast food option, and hopefully they will think twice before buying such items themselves!
