School Survey Letter

MR/MW

30th October 2007

Dear Parent/Carer

As Headteacher I asked you to complete a survey regarding your child's experience of Whitgift School, which many of you kindly completed at our most recent Parents' Evening for Year 7 students. I promised to inform you regarding the feedback we received. The survey results showed that 98% of you gave extremely positive feedback.

I have enclosed a few of the many positive comments we received from the questionnaires.

“My child’s start in Whitgift has exceeded my expectations and I hope this continues as this is the foundation for her future.”

“I am very pleased with my child’s start at this school. She is more confident and is making progress in her work.”

“She was very nervous before starting but came out of school on the first day with a confident smile, full of talk of how ‘brilliant’ it all was.”

I would like to thank you again for taking the time to complete these questionnaires as it provides us with your thoughts and feelings about our school and also helps to build good communications.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child’s education or welfare in school please feel free to contact the school and to ask to speak to either your child’s tutor or College Leader who will be happy to make a mutually convenient time.

Yours sincerely

Mr M. Rushby

Headteacher
