Dear Parent/Carer

Rewards Visits to Alton Towers and Lightwater Valley - Wednesday 18th July 2007

I am delighted to inform you that this year we will be offering students the opportunity to participate in one of two visits, to Alton Towers, Staffordshire, or Lightwater Valley, North Yorkshire, on our Annual Rewards Visits Day.  Both visits are being subsidised by the school.

In accordance with the school’s BfL Policy, only students who have displayed excellent behaviour and attitude to learning throughout the academic year may participate. Students who have spent a full day or half a day in isolation are not eligible to participate.

Whitgift School reserves the right to withdraw any student from the visits at any time should there be any breech of the BfL Policy once places have been reserved.

Prices include entry to the theme park, return transport to and from Whitgift School and insurance.

Alton Towers £19.50             Lightwater Valley £12.50

Please indicate on the slip attached your choice of visit, and return to W6 along with an initial non refundable deposit of £5.00 and the completed Parental Consent Form. The remaining balance should be paid by Friday 6th July.

Places will be reserved on a first come first served basis. Should your first choice of visit be fully booked, you will have the option of participating in the other visit, should there still be places available.

Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at school. Students will be fully briefed and given information regarding departure/return times a week before the visits.
